How To Uninstall libefreet1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libefreet1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libefreet1

dummy transitional package to libefreet1a+libefreet-binDebian 8.0libs1.8.6-2.1
sudo apt-get remove libefreet1

This will remove just the libefreet1 package itself.

Uninstall libefreet1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libefreet1

This will remove the libefreet1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libefreet1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libefreet1

Or similarly, like this libefreet1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libefreet1
