How To Uninstall libefreet1a On Debian 8

To uninstall libefreet1a just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libefreet1a

Library that implements freedesktop.org specs for use with E17/EFLDebian 8.0libs1.8.6-2.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libefreet1a

This will remove just the libefreet1a package itself.

Uninstall libefreet1a and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libefreet1a

This will remove the libefreet1a package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libefreet1a then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libefreet1a

Or similarly, like this libefreet1a

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libefreet1a
