How To Uninstall libeinspline-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libeinspline-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libeinspline-dbg

library for interpolating cubic basis splines (debugging symbols)Debian 8.0debug0.9.2-2
sudo apt-get remove libeinspline-dbg

This will remove just the libeinspline-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libeinspline-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libeinspline-dbg

This will remove the libeinspline-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libeinspline-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libeinspline-dbg

Or similarly, like this libeinspline-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libeinspline-dbg
