How To Uninstall libelemental0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libelemental0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libelemental0

Periodic Table viewer (data and shared library)Debian 8.0libs1.2.0-9
sudo apt-get remove libelemental0

This will remove just the libelemental0 package itself.

Uninstall libelemental0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libelemental0

This will remove the libelemental0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libelemental0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libelemental0

Or similarly, like this libelemental0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libelemental0
