How To Uninstall libelementary-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libelementary-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libelementary-dbg

debugging symbols for use with libelementaryDebian 8.0debug1.8.5-2
sudo apt-get remove libelementary-dbg

This will remove just the libelementary-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libelementary-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libelementary-dbg

This will remove the libelementary-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libelementary-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libelementary-dbg

Or similarly, like this libelementary-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libelementary-dbg
