How To Uninstall libembryo-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libembryo-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libembryo-dev

Development files for libembryo1Debian 8.0libdevel1.8.6-2.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libembryo-dev

This will remove just the libembryo-dev package itself.

Uninstall libembryo-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libembryo-dev

This will remove the libembryo-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libembryo-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libembryo-dev

Or similarly, like this libembryo-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libembryo-dev
