How To Uninstall libemma-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libemma-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libemma-java

Java code coverage toolDebian 8.0java2.0.5312+dfsg-4
sudo apt-get remove libemma-java

This will remove just the libemma-java package itself.

Uninstall libemma-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libemma-java

This will remove the libemma-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libemma-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libemma-java

Or similarly, like this libemma-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libemma-java
