How To Uninstall libemos-data On Debian 8

To uninstall libemos-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libemos-data

Data files for the ECMWF Interpolation libraryDebian 8.0utils000392+dfsg.1-3
sudo apt-get remove libemos-data

This will remove just the libemos-data package itself.

Uninstall libemos-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libemos-data

This will remove the libemos-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libemos-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libemos-data

Or similarly, like this libemos-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libemos-data
