How To Uninstall libenet7 On Debian 8

To uninstall libenet7 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libenet7

thin network communication layer on top of UDPDebian 8.0libs1.3.12+ds-2
sudo apt-get remove libenet7

This will remove just the libenet7 package itself.

Uninstall libenet7 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libenet7

This will remove the libenet7 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libenet7 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libenet7

Or similarly, like this libenet7

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libenet7
