How To Uninstall libevas1-engine-fb On Debian 8

To uninstall libevas1-engine-fb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libevas1-engine-fb

Evas module providing the Framebuffer engineDebian 8.0libs1.8.6-2.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libevas1-engine-fb

This will remove just the libevas1-engine-fb package itself.

Uninstall libevas1-engine-fb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libevas1-engine-fb

This will remove the libevas1-engine-fb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libevas1-engine-fb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libevas1-engine-fb

Or similarly, like this libevas1-engine-fb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libevas1-engine-fb
