How To Uninstall libevas1-engines-x On Debian 8

To uninstall libevas1-engines-x just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libevas1-engines-x

Evas module providing the X11 enginesDebian 8.0libs1.8.6-2.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libevas1-engines-x

This will remove just the libevas1-engines-x package itself.

Uninstall libevas1-engines-x and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libevas1-engines-x

This will remove the libevas1-engines-x package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libevas1-engines-x then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libevas1-engines-x

Or similarly, like this libevas1-engines-x

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libevas1-engines-x
