How To Uninstall libevemu-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libevemu-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libevemu-dev

Linux Input Event Device Emulation Library - development filesDebian 8.0libdevel1.2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove libevemu-dev

This will remove just the libevemu-dev package itself.

Uninstall libevemu-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libevemu-dev

This will remove the libevemu-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libevemu-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libevemu-dev

Or similarly, like this libevemu-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libevemu-dev
