How To Uninstall libevemu1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libevemu1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libevemu1

Linux Input Event Device Emulation LibraryDebian 8.0libs1.2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove libevemu1

This will remove just the libevemu1 package itself.

Uninstall libevemu1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libevemu1

This will remove the libevemu1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libevemu1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libevemu1

Or similarly, like this libevemu1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libevemu1
