How To Uninstall libevtlog0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libevtlog0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libevtlog0

Syslog event logger libraryDebian 8.0libs0.2.12-6
sudo apt-get remove libevtlog0

This will remove just the libevtlog0 package itself.

Uninstall libevtlog0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libevtlog0

This will remove the libevtlog0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libevtlog0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libevtlog0

Or similarly, like this libevtlog0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libevtlog0
