How To Uninstall libexactimage-perl On Debian 8

To uninstall libexactimage-perl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libexactimage-perl

fast image manipulation library (Perl bindings)Debian 8.0perl0.8.9-7+deb8u2
sudo apt-get remove libexactimage-perl

This will remove just the libexactimage-perl package itself.

Uninstall libexactimage-perl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libexactimage-perl

This will remove the libexactimage-perl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libexactimage-perl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libexactimage-perl

Or similarly, like this libexactimage-perl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libexactimage-perl
