How To Uninstall libexiv2-13 On Debian 8

To uninstall libexiv2-13 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libexiv2-13

EXIF/IPTC metadata manipulation libraryDebian 8.0libs0.24-4.1
sudo apt-get remove libexiv2-13

This will remove just the libexiv2-13 package itself.

Uninstall libexiv2-13 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libexiv2-13

This will remove the libexiv2-13 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libexiv2-13 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libexiv2-13

Or similarly, like this libexiv2-13

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libexiv2-13
