How To Uninstall libfalcon-engine1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libfalcon-engine1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfalcon-engine1

Falcon Programming Language engineDebian 8.0libs0.9.6.9-git20120606-2.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libfalcon-engine1

This will remove just the libfalcon-engine1 package itself.

Uninstall libfalcon-engine1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfalcon-engine1

This will remove the libfalcon-engine1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfalcon-engine1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfalcon-engine1

Or similarly, like this libfalcon-engine1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfalcon-engine1
