How To Uninstall libfannj-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libfannj-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfannj-java

FannJ a Java binding to the Fast Artificial Neural Network (FANN) C libraryDebian 8.0java0.3-1
sudo apt-get remove libfannj-java

This will remove just the libfannj-java package itself.

Uninstall libfannj-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfannj-java

This will remove the libfannj-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfannj-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfannj-java

Or similarly, like this libfannj-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfannj-java
