How To Uninstall libffcall1-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libffcall1-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libffcall1-dev

Foreign Function Call Libraries (development files)Debian 8.0libdevel1.10+cvs20100619-3
sudo apt-get remove libffcall1-dev

This will remove just the libffcall1-dev package itself.

Uninstall libffcall1-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libffcall1-dev

This will remove the libffcall1-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libffcall1-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libffcall1-dev

Or similarly, like this libffcall1-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libffcall1-dev
