How To Uninstall libfindlib-ocaml-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libfindlib-ocaml-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfindlib-ocaml-dev

library for managing OCaml libraries (development files)Debian 8.0ocaml1.4.1-1
sudo apt-get remove libfindlib-ocaml-dev

This will remove just the libfindlib-ocaml-dev package itself.

Uninstall libfindlib-ocaml-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfindlib-ocaml-dev

This will remove the libfindlib-ocaml-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfindlib-ocaml-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfindlib-ocaml-dev

Or similarly, like this libfindlib-ocaml-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfindlib-ocaml-dev
