How To Uninstall libflac++-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libflac++-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libflac++-dev

Free Lossless Audio Codec - C++ development libraryDebian 8.0libdevel1.3.0-3
sudo apt-get remove libflac++-dev

This will remove just the libflac++-dev package itself.

Uninstall libflac++-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libflac++-dev

This will remove the libflac++-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libflac++-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libflac++-dev

Or similarly, like this libflac++-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libflac++-dev
