How To Uninstall libflac++6 On Debian 8

To uninstall libflac++6 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libflac++6

Free Lossless Audio Codec - C++ runtime libraryDebian 8.0libs1.3.0-3
sudo apt-get remove libflac++6

This will remove just the libflac++6 package itself.

Uninstall libflac++6 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libflac++6

This will remove the libflac++6 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libflac++6 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libflac++6

Or similarly, like this libflac++6

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libflac++6
