How To Uninstall libflake-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libflake-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libflake-dev

Alternative encoder for the Free Lossless Audio Codec -- Development filesDebian 8.0sound0.11-2
sudo apt-get remove libflake-dev

This will remove just the libflake-dev package itself.

Uninstall libflake-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libflake-dev

This will remove the libflake-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libflake-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libflake-dev

Or similarly, like this libflake-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libflake-dev
