How To Uninstall libfltk1.3-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libfltk1.3-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfltk1.3-dbg

Fast Light Toolkit - shared libraries with debugging symbolsDebian 8.0debug1.3.2-6+b1
sudo apt-get remove libfltk1.3-dbg

This will remove just the libfltk1.3-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libfltk1.3-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfltk1.3-dbg

This will remove the libfltk1.3-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfltk1.3-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfltk1.3-dbg

Or similarly, like this libfltk1.3-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfltk1.3-dbg
