How To Uninstall libfop-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libfop-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfop-java

XML formatter driven by XSL Formatting Objects (XSL-FO.)Debian 8.0java1:1.1.dfsg2-1
sudo apt-get remove libfop-java

This will remove just the libfop-java package itself.

Uninstall libfop-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfop-java

This will remove the libfop-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfop-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfop-java

Or similarly, like this libfop-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfop-java
