How To Uninstall libfpga-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libfpga-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfpga-dev

development files for fpgatoolsDebian 8.0libdevel0.0+201212-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libfpga-dev

This will remove just the libfpga-dev package itself.

Uninstall libfpga-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfpga-dev

This will remove the libfpga-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfpga-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfpga-dev

Or similarly, like this libfpga-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfpga-dev
