How To Uninstall libfpga0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libfpga0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfpga0

libraries of fpgatoolsDebian 8.0libs0.0+201212-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libfpga0

This will remove just the libfpga0 package itself.

Uninstall libfpga0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfpga0

This will remove the libfpga0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfpga0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfpga0

Or similarly, like this libfpga0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfpga0
