How To Uninstall libfreecontact0-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libfreecontact0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfreecontact0-dbg

debugging symbols for libfreecontactDebian 8.0debug1.0.21-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove libfreecontact0-dbg

This will remove just the libfreecontact0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libfreecontact0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfreecontact0-dbg

This will remove the libfreecontact0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfreecontact0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfreecontact0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libfreecontact0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfreecontact0-dbg
