How To Uninstall libfreefem0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libfreefem0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfreefem0

Shared libraries for FreeFEMDebian 8.0libs3.5.8-5.1
sudo apt-get remove libfreefem0

This will remove just the libfreefem0 package itself.

Uninstall libfreefem0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfreefem0

This will remove the libfreefem0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfreefem0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfreefem0

Or similarly, like this libfreefem0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfreefem0
