How To Uninstall libfreerdp-common1.1.0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libfreerdp-common1.1.0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfreerdp-common1.1.0

Free Remote Desktop Protocol library (common library)Debian 8.0libs1.1.0~git20140921.1.440916e+dfsg1-4
sudo apt-get remove libfreerdp-common1.1.0

This will remove just the libfreerdp-common1.1.0 package itself.

Uninstall libfreerdp-common1.1.0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfreerdp-common1.1.0

This will remove the libfreerdp-common1.1.0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfreerdp-common1.1.0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfreerdp-common1.1.0

Or similarly, like this libfreerdp-common1.1.0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfreerdp-common1.1.0
