How To Uninstall libfreerdp-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libfreerdp-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfreerdp-dbg

Free Remote Desktop Protocol library (debug symbols)Debian 8.0debug1.1.0~git20140921.1.440916e+dfsg1-4
sudo apt-get remove libfreerdp-dbg

This will remove just the libfreerdp-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libfreerdp-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfreerdp-dbg

This will remove the libfreerdp-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfreerdp-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfreerdp-dbg

Or similarly, like this libfreerdp-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfreerdp-dbg
