How To Uninstall libfxt0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libfxt0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfxt0

Multithreaded tracing libraryDebian 8.0libs0.3.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libfxt0

This will remove just the libfxt0 package itself.

Uninstall libfxt0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfxt0

This will remove the libfxt0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfxt0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfxt0

Or similarly, like this libfxt0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfxt0
