How To Uninstall libgadap-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libgadap-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgadap-dev

Development and static libraries for GADAPDebian 8.0libdevel2.0-3
sudo apt-get remove libgadap-dev

This will remove just the libgadap-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgadap-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgadap-dev

This will remove the libgadap-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgadap-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgadap-dev

Or similarly, like this libgadap-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgadap-dev
