How To Uninstall libganglia1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libganglia1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libganglia1

cluster monitoring toolkit - shared librariesDebian 8.0libs3.6.0-6
sudo apt-get remove libganglia1

This will remove just the libganglia1 package itself.

Uninstall libganglia1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libganglia1

This will remove the libganglia1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libganglia1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libganglia1

Or similarly, like this libganglia1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libganglia1
