How To Uninstall libganymed-ssh2-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libganymed-ssh2-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libganymed-ssh2-java

pure Java implementation of the SSH-2 protocolDebian 8.0java250-2
sudo apt-get remove libganymed-ssh2-java

This will remove just the libganymed-ssh2-java package itself.

Uninstall libganymed-ssh2-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libganymed-ssh2-java

This will remove the libganymed-ssh2-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libganymed-ssh2-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libganymed-ssh2-java

Or similarly, like this libganymed-ssh2-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libganymed-ssh2-java
