How To Uninstall libgccxml-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libgccxml-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgccxml-dev

Libraries for building extension to gccxml outputDebian 8.0libdevel0.9.0+git20140716-2
sudo apt-get remove libgccxml-dev

This will remove just the libgccxml-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgccxml-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgccxml-dev

This will remove the libgccxml-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgccxml-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgccxml-dev

Or similarly, like this libgccxml-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgccxml-dev
