How To Uninstall libgcj15-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libgcj15-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgcj15-dbg

Debugging symbols for libraries provided in libgcj15-devDebian 8.0debug4.9.2-10
sudo apt-get remove libgcj15-dbg

This will remove just the libgcj15-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgcj15-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgcj15-dbg

This will remove the libgcj15-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgcj15-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgcj15-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgcj15-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgcj15-dbg
