How To Uninstall libgcu0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgcu0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgcu0

GNOME chemistry utils (library)Debian 8.0libs0.14.9-1
sudo apt-get remove libgcu0

This will remove just the libgcu0 package itself.

Uninstall libgcu0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgcu0

This will remove the libgcu0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgcu0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgcu0

Or similarly, like this libgcu0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgcu0
