How To Uninstall libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml On Debian 8

To uninstall libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml

OCaml interface to the GD library -- transitional packageDebian 8.0ocaml1.0~alpha5-8
sudo apt-get remove libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml

This will remove just the libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml package itself.

Uninstall libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml

This will remove the libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml

Or similarly, like this libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml
