How To Uninstall libgd-ocaml-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libgd-ocaml-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgd-ocaml-dev

OCaml interface to the GD library -- developpement filesDebian 8.0ocaml1.0~alpha5-8+b3
sudo apt-get remove libgd-ocaml-dev

This will remove just the libgd-ocaml-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgd-ocaml-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgd-ocaml-dev

This will remove the libgd-ocaml-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgd-ocaml-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgd-ocaml-dev

Or similarly, like this libgd-ocaml-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgd-ocaml-dev
