How To Uninstall libgearman-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libgearman-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgearman-dbg

transitional dummy packageDebian 8.0debug1.0.6-5
sudo apt-get remove libgearman-dbg

This will remove just the libgearman-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgearman-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgearman-dbg

This will remove the libgearman-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgearman-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgearman-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgearman-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgearman-dbg
