How To Uninstall libgearman7-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libgearman7-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgearman7-dbg

Debug symbols for the Gearman Client LibraryDebian 8.0debug1.0.6-5
sudo apt-get remove libgearman7-dbg

This will remove just the libgearman7-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgearman7-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgearman7-dbg

This will remove the libgearman7-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgearman7-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgearman7-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgearman7-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgearman7-dbg
