How To Uninstall libgecode36 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgecode36 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgecode36

generic constraint development environmentDebian 8.0libs4.2.1-2
sudo apt-get remove libgecode36

This will remove just the libgecode36 package itself.

Uninstall libgecode36 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgecode36

This will remove the libgecode36 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgecode36 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgecode36

Or similarly, like this libgecode36

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgecode36
