How To Uninstall libgeocode-glib-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libgeocode-glib-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgeocode-glib-dbg

debug symbols for geocode-glib libraryDebian 8.0debug3.14.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libgeocode-glib-dbg

This will remove just the libgeocode-glib-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgeocode-glib-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgeocode-glib-dbg

This will remove the libgeocode-glib-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgeocode-glib-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgeocode-glib-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgeocode-glib-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgeocode-glib-dbg
