How To Uninstall libgeocode-glib-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libgeocode-glib-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgeocode-glib-dev

developement files for geocode-glib libraryDebian 8.0libdevel3.14.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libgeocode-glib-dev

This will remove just the libgeocode-glib-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgeocode-glib-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgeocode-glib-dev

This will remove the libgeocode-glib-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgeocode-glib-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgeocode-glib-dev

Or similarly, like this libgeocode-glib-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgeocode-glib-dev
