How To Uninstall libgfal-transfer2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgfal-transfer2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgfal-transfer2

File Transfer logic of gfal2Debian 8.0libs2.3.0-4+b1
sudo apt-get remove libgfal-transfer2

This will remove just the libgfal-transfer2 package itself.

Uninstall libgfal-transfer2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgfal-transfer2

This will remove the libgfal-transfer2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgfal-transfer2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgfal-transfer2

Or similarly, like this libgfal-transfer2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgfal-transfer2
