How To Uninstall libgfsgl0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgfsgl0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgfsgl0

graphical viewer for Gerris simulation files. Shared libraryDebian 8.0science20121130+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove libgfsgl0

This will remove just the libgfsgl0 package itself.

Uninstall libgfsgl0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgfsgl0

This will remove the libgfsgl0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgfsgl0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgfsgl0

Or similarly, like this libgfsgl0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgfsgl0
