How To Uninstall libghc-async-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libghc-async-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libghc-async-dev

run IO operations asynchronously and wait for their resultsDebian 8.0haskell2.0.1.5-1
sudo apt-get remove libghc-async-dev

This will remove just the libghc-async-dev package itself.

Uninstall libghc-async-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-async-dev

This will remove the libghc-async-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libghc-async-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libghc-async-dev

Or similarly, like this libghc-async-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-async-dev
