How To Uninstall libgirara-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libgirara-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgirara-dev

library for minimalistic user interfaces (development files)Debian 8.0libdevel0.2.3-1
sudo apt-get remove libgirara-dev

This will remove just the libgirara-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgirara-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgirara-dev

This will remove the libgirara-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgirara-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgirara-dev

Or similarly, like this libgirara-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgirara-dev
