How To Uninstall libglew-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libglew-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libglew-dbg

OpenGL Extension Wrangler (debugging symbols)Debian 8.0debug1.10.0-3
sudo apt-get remove libglew-dbg

This will remove just the libglew-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libglew-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libglew-dbg

This will remove the libglew-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libglew-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libglew-dbg

Or similarly, like this libglew-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglew-dbg
